Love

Butterflys

On my son's last day of school his teacher had just received her caterpillars and of course could not use them in the class room. She asked if we would like to take them home and hatch them into butterfly's so to speak. I will have another layout later with photos of the process. We had so much fun watching and talking about the different stages butterfly's go through. And of course came the day of release. This last butterfly needed a little more time to prepare for flight and sat on my son's finger for 20 minutes. He was so happy.

Her Lullaby Kit

My Mom saw this kit and had to have it. She and my sister are huge fans. I loved all the piano elements. This is heArtistic Touches kit - Her Lullaby, Broken Glass and Fern - Flergs - Into the Twilight. You can check out this kit and her other beautiful ones Here.

The New Stroller

Finally got to use a new kit from Britt-ish Designs called Imperial Girl. WOW, lots of fun stuff in this kit. Britt does the most amazing kits and lots are great for Disney pic's but as you can see it works with lots of photo's. Really having fun doing double layouts now that I found an easier way to do them. I love looking through our albums and having facing pages match.

Sweetie Pie Kit

Berry Sweet Kit

Surf and Play

Two very different photo's and the same kit. This is a collab between AWP and Mhains - Out and About, Font for Surf is Tempus Sans ITC, Font for Play is Mister Sirloin BTN. Hard to believe these are from the same kit.

Have I took you all lately how much I like PSE. Only miss a couple of things like the Perspective Straightener, Make up Tool and Warp Tool in Corel Paint Shop Pro. Sometimes I'll send an item to the old computer and do my thing and then send it back.

Music to my Soul

This is one of my most favorite times in 2008 so I scraped it again. I use two of Vicki's older kits - Cafe Del Mar & Fizzy Pop (Recolored) some items, Font Galeforce BTN. Check out Vicki's blog she has some of her older kits for a $1 and then to be retired. Here Sure miss my DAD!

Everyone except me came down with this awful intestinal thing but are now better. I was so tired and am not sure how much laundry I did. When I was young I worked at an amusement park and saw people vomit all the time. I would clean it up and could go right on my lunch break no problem. Now though the smell really gets to me. I seem to be more squeamish since having children. Sa la vie! I guess I can't spell check the french. LOL

Hawaiian Luau Kit

Always loved this photo; my man couldn't smile any bigger if he tried sunburn and all.

Wanted to try something a little simple because my daughter looked so cute here.

This was on the fourth after dinner just before we walked downtown to the fun. It was a beautiful day and not to hot. The kid's had fun on the rides and eating fairy floss.

Uptown Girl Collab Kit

Vicki's Part of Uptown Girl. Love the drink and the ribbons are so cute.

Mels part of Uptown Girl is great. Loved the pink diamonds and the adorable little umbrella the best. These were fun party kits but you'll have to see all the CT's layouts to see just how great this collab is. Go Here for Vicki's part and Here for Mels part.

Old MacDonald Kit

We love the old Fisher Price Farm. It leaves more to the imagination than the newer model. Our daughter loves to play farm and especially horses. She loves animals.

Our son loves the cow tractor's from the "Cars" movie and boy all I have to say is. "It took them a long time to come out with Frank the "Cars Combine". I'll have to do another layout with the new combine. He would use paint rollers in from of a car, paper towel rolls, and chase McQueen and Mater around our dinning room table. So Funny!

Coffee Lovers

My Sister and Mom love coffee. I don't know what happened to me but I'm a tea drinker. The only thing I can attribute to my dislike of coffee has to be the fact that a children my Sis and I would go out in the morning after my parents would have had company over and sip out coffee from everyones cups. Yuck! If only they had known. Funny the she likes it and I don't. LOL. Love this photo of the two of them.

Tahoe and Hawaiian Mama

Isn't my Mom Beautiful! She has always had a great figure and we had so much fun at Lake Tahoe on this day in August. It was gorgeous and the water wasn't freezing. On our drive back to Reno it snowed going through the pass. We looked ahead and weren't sure what we were seeing until we got close. We both wished we had stopped to get pictures of us standing in the snow with our swim suits on. Hee! Hee! Oh well.

Mom liked this photo better so I switched the layout around a bit and used the other Alpha in the kit. I think both photo's are great.

Birthday

It was your second birthday and we when to the park to play and you picked a cute little flower way to short and held it out for Mommy.

In Your Element and It Man

My husband love to tinker with electronics and worked very hard setting up my Dad's old computer for us. His old computer was newer than our dinosaur computer. LOL. He was very frustrated after for days of trying to transfer everything to the new computer, then hook the printer up and finally add on the new external hard drive. But he did it, Because He's The Man!

Summer Berries Kit

They were working on our parking lot and we watched from your window. We loved watching the tractors dig.

Love the picture of sister looking at the Koi. You two always have fun going to the Wilbur D. May Museum. These fish are very mellow but follow you as you walk around their pool.
