We love to go to Bavarian World to buy bread and yummy German Foods. We had just picked up my Mom at the Airport and stopped by to pick up some goodies.

Love the colors and all the cute elements. I was tired of cold colors and Christmas themes. What a breath of fresh air. I'm ready for spring. I know it's only December. You have to see all the inspirational layouts on Vicki's Blog.
We had so much fun at my husbands Family Christmas Party at work. The kid's had a blast. And isn't this the cutest super hero kit. I had so much fun making this page. 
I went down to my husbands work one day went they were setting up for the New York Ballet. They were busy getting ready and usually on those days works 10 to 16 hour days. He comes home whipped but loves his work. Plus he meets so many really great people.
It was fun to see all the behind the scenes stuff that no one ever sees. I couldn't believe how high up from the stage they have to work sometimes. And they went from having a seven man crew to having three. I don't know how they do it.
I sure miss riding my motorcycle on nice days when I see everyone out. I was so lucky in the eight years that I rode. Didn't ever have an accident. There were many close calls usually people didn't see you. My Dad always told me pretend your invisible and have a exit strategy so you don't get hit. Of course when I rode a bike there weren't very many women riders back then so most people noticed me especially if I wore pink. There is nothing like it. You feel like your flying. My friends and I would ride every other weekend all over San Diego County.

Couldn't get the kids any closer to Santa than this and I had to kneel behind them to even get them that close. They would take the candy cane and quickly back up. I told the person taking the photos not to worry that this was good.
We went to the Casino to have lunch and took some cute photos around the beautiful Christmas displays. The kid's did a good job and we rode the train at Circus Circus.
I made this layout of Mom and her grand kids so see could email it to all her German friends for Christmas. We promised a new (small) toy if they did a good job. As you can see someone was not going to smile for any reason not even a new toy.
Mom made cookies one night for the family. Yummy! I used K Aagard - Lil Baker, Font - Courier.

My Aunt took this photo of me when she was going to college and I have always loved it. Yes I used to suck my fingers once upon a time. Hee, Hee! I remember going to Germany one summer and in bed one night I realized that I hadn't sucked my fingers in a while so I gave it and try and they tasted awful and they weren't all soft. That was the end of that. I used to sit behind this fuzzy pillow on our sofa while watching Adam 12 with my Dad. Does anyone remember that Police Show?
Our little guy is starting to love video games. I put it off as long as I could but am glad he is usually happy to play for only 15 minuts to half an hour. Both the kids love to go to Chuck E. Cheese.

Having Fun making Mom some pretty pages for her Cancer Album. She has scraped some wonderful things so far. An outting to McDonalds with the kid's one Sunday after church.
Mom has a great attitude about her treatments and we have hope...We went one Saturday when she went to get her shot. The kid's watched from a safe distance. Didn't want to get to close because the shot could rub off and they might get one. Ha! Ha! I was so glad when they had Flu Mist instead of a shot this year. Must less traumatic.

Gam came to visit me in Carlsbad CA in the 1990's and I did her make up at the Salon I worked at. She looked so beautiful I had to get a picture.
I have fond memories of watching Lawrence Welk on Sat. nights after we played cards and ate popcorn. When ever we visit you in St. George we watch with you.
Dad had your VCR programed to tape your favorite shows so you would never miss them.
We all took turns holding the puppies and you enjoyed it just as much as the rest of us. What a fun evening.
The kid's and I walked down to the mail box with you. We were enjoy our visit in April 2008.
I made enchilada dinner for Dad and Gammie's friends the Hixon's. The kid had their own little table next to ours. It was so cute; they wanted a center piece on it to.
A picnic in Washington Park on a windy afternoon. I think it was fun that we got out and you enjoyed watching me play with the kid's.
Gammie sure enjoyed her little lap warmers. The kid's always had fun with them too!
We drove down to Dad's trailer in the desert on afternoon. He was not feeling very well and had to go lay down after lunch.
We tried to have nice meals and freeze the left overs for you. 
You entertained the grand kid's while I ran an errand to the store and they had a good time playing cards with you.
Getting a hug is the best from great grandson's!
We took you to Red Lobster one evening and all had a yummy dinner together. Gam was so happy to get out for a bit.
You were pushed to lunch and we visited a bit and met some of your friends. You were recovering from your vertebral injury.
Having fun at your temporary lodgings. The kid's wanted badly to run in the hallways and Mom had to put a stop to that.

You had just turned three and didn't quite understand the trick or treat thing. The other kid's would ring the door bell and say trick or treat and you would go into the house and start looking around for toys. It was so cute. Mima had gotten a little Harley Davidson jacket at the Thrift store and you looked so cute with Mommy's old biker scarf.

This is so cute. Love all the ride elements and the cute tickets. Great for all your amusement park layouts and carnivals. The kid's always love to go on the rides. The best ones are in Sept. So glad Mima is here with us.
I forgot about this layout I did a couple of months ago. Don't have to many photo's of me at work. This was a pretty uniform and not to skimpy like some in Vegas. My favorite was the Black Velvet dress I wore when I worked at the Hilton. Cocktailing was a fun job and had very little stress. Maybe a bit if it was really busy. But it was nice to go home and not think about work. Although I did have my share of waitressing nightmares...When our second baby was born I stayed home. My husbands job had very unusual hours and it was so hard to get someone to watch the kids if his schedule changed or the hours were extended. I like being with my children and we do lots of fun things.

We are so excited to have a new grill. The old one I had gotten from my Dad was rusted and only heated on about a quarter of the grill. This one is so incredible. My husband is in heaven and I love grilled food. We made s'mores and the whole family enjoyed one. More than one and you'll throw up. Don't ask me how I know this...
