Water Park

This was an amazing day. I decided to stay all day if we could especially since we can't go often. The kid's didn't nap any more so we should do OK. They had such fun in the kiddie area. My older nephew's took our son to play a little while I played with our daughter. Even now when ever we drive by the park they ask to go, even in winter. I explain that it has to be hot to play outside in the water. Hope we can go once or twice this year.

Rainy Day and Hip Hop

My two love rainy day's and well when you live in the desert high or low it doesn't rain much. Our daughter is a puddle jumper and when she sees a puddle some time's I say, "Don't even think about it" because I know what she is going to do. Our son was jumping from rock to rock and I said they could be slippery and I didn't think it was a good idea because he could fall and get hurt. He didn't get hurt but he did get very wet. His face was one of shock and disgust.

Noah's Ark

This was such a cute room and our sweet little boy never slept in it. I worked swing shift 7pm to 3am and well I would either fall asleep in the rocker for 3 or 4 hours and wake up stiff or be up and down after I got home...so...you slept in bed with me where you could nurse when you wanted and I didn't have to move. My sweet friend gave me everything, all the furniture and bedding. Our daughter made good use of it...I wanted to sleep a night through more than anything but you woke up every two hours. What a zombie! But sometimes I would be so tired and just watch you. There's nothing like it. Watching your baby sleep....

My Bike

Some of you may not know it but I used to have a bike. My Dad and I went on many trips all over the country and I took a few on my own. Wow there is nothing like it. You feel like your flying. It's quiet a Rush. Now that I have little ones and am older, feel mortal and have given it up at least for a while. But on a beautiful day when I see others out riding I long for the freedom of a ride. My Dad taught me to ride when I was 13 years old. I tell you that was a long time ago. It is so great to see more women riders today. I felt like the only one for years.

Sticky Goodness

Here is Sara's new kit Cotton Candy. I was a Guest CT this week on her blog and made the above page with her kit. Go to my side bar to check out all her beautiful work.

Took the kid's to the Park the other day and got some cute photo's with their cotton candy; or as they say down under "Fairy Floss". Learned this from Sara, and thought it was very cute. They had such a good time because we seldom have cotton candy. I feel the need for having my teeth cleaned at the dentist after. LOL. I forgot to show you Stacey's preview's with my pages but will with the next CT pages.

Dads Memorial

The service was so wonderful and we were so glad that we had it at our old church in Kansas City. So many of Dad's friends, co-workers and fellow bikers were their. It was so great to connect faces to all the stories of the special people in his life. Sure missing him especially all the stories and I'm sad that my little one's won't grow up hearing them. Paul and Marsha did a wonderful service for us.

Nature Walk

It was a beautiful day in March and we went for a wonderful hike along the River Walk on the Truckee. I was wonderful and still have more photo's to scrap.

The Doctor's

I did a traditional layout of this photo for my daughters room. They had fun playing doctor with the Baby Doll. I knew I wanted to get some photo's of them playing doctor so I told them I would buy them a doctor kit to go with their outfits. They operated, checked baby and gave her shots.

Pyramid Lake

It was a perfect day to go to the lake. Not to Hot! The kids had so much fun playing in the water and digging in the sand. We might not be close to the ocean but there are some great lakes here.

I got this kit because of the cute alpha and I love the sand. From Studio mgl - Treasures of the Deep, Font - Pristina.
I love my new PSE. I just zipped around the kids with the magnetic lasso and Tada, it was done.

Gonna Get Me

This was a park we don't usually go to but you two had such a good time there. They had three different playgrounds and we tried them all. You favorite game of course is when I chase you. I'm either a Shark, Monster or something else and sometimes all the kids want to play too!

Leaves

I got some great pictures of our daughter this day last year. Our son was in preschool and we went to a fun little park on the other side of town. She had fun playing in the leaves, on the playground and playhouse.

Starting to get a few photos of 2007 done. Almost done with 2008. Yeah! Our little girl was playing in the fountain at Auntie's House and I snapped these through the window.

Trains

For Earth Day two years ago we have a fun thing called Tune into Kid's, there was free fishing, model trains, pony rides and more. It was bitter cold but our son caught eight fish. This was his first time fishing and he loved it. Daddy has his annual fishing trip this time of year and he didn't catch as many as our son. LOL. The Model Train was a big hit as our son Choo Choo's in the picture.

Zoo-rific

Fun, Fun, Fun kit. Decided to do another two page layout so I could use the other photos of our trip to the zoo. It was a great day.

Zoo

We took a trip to the zoo in '07 and I'm just now scraping the pages. We had a great time visiting friends who lived nearby and then went to the zoo the next day. This was our children's first time to a zoo. They loved it. The ant eater was a hit because everyone else was napping during the hot part of the day.

Kathy's Klippery

This is my wonderful friend Kathy. We grew up together, right across the street from each other. She, my sister and myself all played together. She sold her grooming business and bought this very cool mobile grooming van. I was impressed with the size and how professional it was. It was great getting to have a little visit while back in Kansas City. The little Sheltie in front of my layout is my doggie, Dakoda. Both my doggies are now gone but I think of them often. Very smart and sweet natured animals.

Here they are, my babies. I was one of those wonderful wacky dog owner who talked about them like they were my children. People would be annoyed with me but they meant everything to me. I loved stamping the words on the ribbon to personalize it. I have no idea what products I used on this because that was way before I did digi scraping. They looked toward me when I said "Treat" so the picture's are great.

Sweet

Have always loved these photos of our daughter. She loves horses and has to pick just the right one on the ride.
Still having some challenges with my new program. Wasn't able to erase a shadow that I wanted too! Love the cookie cutter could only do two shapes before.

I Am Speed

You had such fun driving the car and were trying to stay ahead of the other drivers. I was surprised at how well you did. It was starting to get hot and we were going to go to the water park after this.

Mini Golf

We started our day at the water park playing mini golf. These two love to play golf. We wanted to do these things before it got to hot. So fun!

Wild Lunch

What a great day this was. We went with my sister to the local water park for her works annual picnic and family day. The kids had the best time. We had a nice lunch but these two were more interested in playing. I am totally loving my PSE but am so glad it came with some instructions or I would be a little lost.
